Ceramic studio data backups

CeramikaTo stores data locally, so browser cleanup or device loss can remove it. Export a full JSON backup after important tests and before moving devices.

Procedure

  1. CeramikaTo stores data locally, so browser cleanup or device loss can remove it. Export a full JSON backup after important tests and before moving devices.
  2. Keep the file in at least two independent locations and include the date. CSV is useful for tables, while JSON is the full restore format.
  3. Check the source before importing. CeramikaTo validates structure and size but cannot verify the technical quality of someone else’s data.

What to record in CeramikaTo

  • Work or sample code and date.
  • Material, batch, cone, schedule and position.
  • Observation separated from hypothesis.

Common mistakes

  • Changing several variables at once without a control sample.
  • Missing batch, cone or kiln-position information.
  • Treating an estimate as a guarantee.
Limit

This guide supports documentation and test planning. It does not replace manufacturer instructions, safety training or specialist assessment of functional ware.

FAQ

Can I use this procedure for every clay?

You can keep the record structure, but parameters must come from your tests and manufacturer data.
